Questions:
1. My favourite image is the first image because I think the colours go together well and complement each other, creating a pleasant image to look at. I think the blurred green helps draw the eye into the main focus of the red petals. I think it's an interesting image to look at.
2. I think the third image shows the best elements of art because it has uniformity with the lines going down the image. I also think the colouring of the image helps with the entire composition of the image.
3. I used rule of thirds, along with perspective in my favourite image. I also put the focal point on a cross hair to draw the eye into the photo.
4. I think my favourite photo and filter combination is the fourth one. I like how the gray and green create an interesting feel. I think the glow is able to help create a focal point in an image that really didn't have one before. I think the glow also helps to bring out some detailing that gets lost in the original image.

Landscapes 2

Questions:
1. I used rule of thirds to emphasize the sky because I think the sky is the main part of a landscape picture. I think the sky has the ability to add a lot to an image.
2. I used perspective with the trees within the images, along with emphasis on the clouds and the sky.
3. I took these pictures around 11am, which I didn't really like because there wasn't much to look at. The sky was pretty boring and the landscape lacked a bit of interest, in my opinion.
4. I was able to use the darkness of the trees in the foreground to help contrast with the brightness of the blue sky in the background.

Edge Burn

Channel Mixer

Lab Colour Method

Gradient Map

Desaturation

Questions:
1. I liked the channel mixer best because I had the most options there.
2. I think I achieved good ranges of values in each of the images, but the desaturation was the hardest to achieve.

Macro Landscape

Questions:
1. Using the macro lens was really cool. It surprised me how close I had to get to the subject in order for it to completely focus. I really liked using it because I was able to capture details I had never even noticed before using the macro lens.
2. I think my favourite shot is the last one because there is a lot to look at in such a small plant. I like how the green background complements the purple flowers in the foreground and how you're able to see the small spider webby strings coming off of the flowers.
3. I think the first shot shows the best rule of thirds because on the left third of the photo, the plant is in focus and as you transition to the right third, it fades into blurriness. The main focus is also in the bottom right crosshair of the photo, which I think helps to pull the eye into the photo itself.
